What inspired you to start teaching Pilates?
Health has always been important to me, and I love to inspire people, so it felt natural to combine my love for Pilates and a healthy lifestyle with helping others, so teaching was an easy choice.
How would you describe your teaching style?
My teaching style is kind, instructive with a bit of humour, but I will push you to be the best you can!
What’s one common Pilates myth you’d love to bust?
It's just stretching!!!
One thing you want every client to feel after finishing your class.
I want you to feel better than when you started, whatever that looks like for you, it might be you didn’t feel it today but after the class you were glad you came, pleased you accomplished that move or feel you held that position longer.
Why should people try the new Pilates videos?
Try something new, your body and your mind will thank you for it. Learn a new skill and discover what your body is capable of.
Who are your Pilates videos perfect for?
These videos are great if you are a true beginner or you may have done a bit of Pilates in the past and want to pick up where you left off. I will take you through it all, I’m with you every step of the way.
What’s your favourite way to relax after a class?
A nice hot bath, dark chocolate and green tea.
Socks or barefoot on the mat?
Barefoot is my preferred choice, feel grounded to the mat, no special equipment.
What’s your absolute favourite stretch after a long day?
Lying out in a full body stretch….bliss.
What’s your post-workout snack or drink?
Almonds. A nice handful with coconut water would be my go-to.
