The Spanish Pantry is the latest cookbook from José Pizarro, award-winning chef, bestselling author, and widely known as ‘The Godfather of Spanish Food’ in the UK. With just a few essential Spanish ingredients, José shows how to create bold, fuss-free dishes—from paella and tortilla to croquetas, stews, and classic desserts.

Organised into 12 ingredient-based chapters, including chorizo, Manchego, jamón, and saffron, this cookbook makes authentic Spanish cooking both simple and delicious.

José trained at Madrid’s Meson de Doña Filo before bringing his passion for Spanish cuisine to the UK. He now runs acclaimed restaurants across London, Surrey, and at The Royal Academy of Arts, including José, Pizarro, José Pizarro, Lolo, and The Swan. A regular on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, he is also the author of seven celebrated cookbooks.
