I'm planning on making Delia Smiths ragu tonight.
I have 500g of pork and 500g of beef, the recipe needs 450 of each, I do not want to waste the rest of the meat.
Do you have any ideas what I could do with the excess? If I can add it to the dish plus some more stock or something?

Hello Eral,
I would put all the meat in and like you suggest adding a bit more wine and tomatoes or tomato paste.
You may not be aware that Delia uses an old-fashioned kitchen tablespoon which is equivalent to 2 dessertspoons.
