The ingredients list for these noble little Thai-inspired fishcakes looks very long but the good thing is they can be made and cooked with incredible speed.
Serve them as a first or main course, or they're also good as canapés to serve with drinks, in which case make them smaller.

THAI FISH CAKES WITH SESAME AND LIME DIPPING SAUCE Hi Lindsay - do you think I could cook these fish cakes in the oven or do I need to fry them? If I need to fry them do you think I could fry them in advance and then just reheat in the oven when my guests arrive? Thanks so much
Answered by Lindsey: Hello, You can quickly fry them to brown them on both sides in advance. Cool them, cover and chill. Then cook them, spread out on a baking tray, at 200c (180 fan) for about 8 minutes until sizzling hot. Kind regards Lindsey
