Bara Brith

Our cake this week is Delia's verison of the Welsh classic Bara Brith - also known as 'speckled bread'.

It's an easy recipe where the dough is left to rise then rolled and shaped and put into a loaf tin for a second rise. Once it's baked and cooling, the top is brushed with clear honey to make it nice and sticky.
