Toad in the Hole

Hello Lindsey I have got a family gathering on Sunday and one of the children has become a vegetarian. I really want to make Delia's Toad in the Hole - two versions - one with sausages and the other with veggie sausages. However, I only really want to make one gravy suitable for both varieties. Can you help advise what I should do. Thanks very much for your help with this question. Best wishes. Melanie

Answered by Lindsey: Hello Melanie, The good news is that when Delia makes Toad in the Hole she serves it with onion gravy, which will work for both of your versions of Toad in the Hole and but if your vegetarian guest, doesn’t eat any fish, you will need to use a vegetarian Worcestershire sauce as the most well know variety contains anchovies.
