When to make a Creole Cake

I’m planning on making Delias Creole Christmas Cake. How far in advance of Christmas do you suggest I make it? Is it like a traditional
Christmas cake which Improves with keeping or would it be better leaving it closer to the big day?

Hello Steve,

Yes it is like a traditional cake that matures.

We usually make ours 6 weeks ahead but you can make it earlier if it suits you better.
