What is curd cheese?

HI! For the Banoffee Cheesecake with Toffee Pecan Sauce recipe...it calls for 'medium fat curd cheese'...would this be a soft cheese like Philadelphia?

Hello Mike,

Curd cheese is rarely available. It’s sometimes available in deli’s or cheese counters but yes, you can use full fat cream cheese or Philadelphia instead.
