The icing sugar in fudge icing

I am unable to buy Golden Icing Sugar locally. Would I be able to use normal or fondant icing sugar for the fudge icing on The Sticky toffee Loaf Cake Lindsay.

Hello,

You can use white icing sugar, but it will be pale in colour.

You could add a drop of gravy browning to enhance the colour if you want.
