Separated mincemeat

Hi Lindsey,

I filled several jars of Delia's lovely mincemeat. Though a few days later I have realised that I had not filled them enough and the juice has sunk to the bottom and there is empty space at the top of the jar. Have I ruined my mincemeat in not filling up my jars?
