Getting ahead with Cottage Pie

I want to make Delia’s cottage pie with cheese crusted leeks. Can I do it in advance ie a few hours before final cooking.

Yes, it can be made in advance and kept covered in the fridge for a couple of days, or made earlier in the day you intend to serve it as you suggest.
