Re Truffle Torte (Delia’s Christmas recipe)
Am making this for the first time. Due to nut allergies, I can’t use amaretti biscuits, would an oat biscuit work okay instead or will it go ‘soggy’ (I’m making it 2 days in advance of eating)?

I might be soft, but we haven’t tested it.
Perhaps you could combine the oat biscuits with some grape-nuts, or you could use gingernuts at they are crunchy.
