Getting ahead with goats' cheese tartlets

Hello Lindsey

I would like to make Delia’s Caramelised Onion Tartlets with Goat’s Cheese and Thyme for a buffet. Could you please tell me how far in advance of the get-together I can make them? Thanks very much.

Hello jan,

I’d make and freeze the pastry cases ahead.

Make and mix the filling the day before.

Fill and bake up to 6 hours before the event.
