These little cakes are cooked on the stove rather than baked in the oven. 

As Delia mentions, they’re simple enough for children to make, so they can be a fun and easy baking activity, on a rainy afternoon when you’re looking for something to do indoors.

The recipe makes 20 cakes, and the best part is they take just 6 minutes to cook. So if you are celebrating St David's Day on March 1st, or gearing up to watch Wales take on Scotland in the rugby match the weekend after, you could make and serve them quickly if you have a crowd coming over.
