Our cake this week is not only perfect for a special afternoon tea, it also makes a wonderful dessert cake, a celebration cake - and is one of Delia's favourite chocolate desserts.
The prunes are soaked in Armagnac overnight, so do remember you need to prepare it the day before, but your reward will be juicy, moist prunes.
