Oven-roasted Ratatouille and Mozzarella Strudel with Parmesan and Pecans For the recipe above - when preparing the tomatoes do I also need to deseed them before I chop them or just take the skins off? Thanks so much.
Answered by Lindsey: Hello, The tomatoes are skinned and quartered but not de-seeded. But if you prefer to remove the seeds that’s fine too. Kind regards Lindsey
Hi. Can I make Delia’s Oven Roast Ratatouille Streudel the day before I intend to cook it and put it in the fridge overnight? If so how long before I cook it should I take it out of the fridge? And do I brush it with butter the day before and again just before it goes into the oven? Thank you.
Answered by Lindsey: Hello, Yes, you can make this ahead as you suggest. Just make sure the vegetables are well roasted so that they are not too wet. I would take it out of the fridge an hour before or bake it for 5 - 10 minutes more. Yes, buttering twice sounds like a good idea. Kind regards Lindsey
